I did a lot of research before buying this particular model of car seat. There are certainly cheaper car seats and by far more expensive car seats. But when you start a comparison of the quality of the seat, the safety of the seat, and the other features that come with this seat; it is apparent that this is a steal! This is really three car seats for one low price. You have an infant seat (rear facing), a toddler seat (front facing), then a booster. What a deal!
Is this seat safe?
One consumer review said that after a car accident with a fatality that the seat and his child were unharmed; only a bit of bruising where the harness system held him safely from harm. This story along with the impact testing done by the manufacturer is all the evidence I need to know that my child will be safe and secure in this seat. The SureLatch system holds the seat securely in place. The harness system holds the child securely in place.
Is this seat easy to use?
This seat is superior to other systems for installation because the SureLatch system unique to this car seat cinches the seat up against the vehicle seat automatically. No tugging and adjustments required. The harness adjusts with a sliding mechanism and works without taking the seat apart and trying to figure out the appropriate slots. Changing from rear to front facing is easy and changing the seat into a booster is a snap.
How comfortable will the seat be for my child?
The seat was designed with safety and comfort in mind. The fabric of the seat is removable and washable. The padding is a perfect thickness for a plush, luxurious ride. No complaints from my child! There is ample leg room when the seat is rear facing. The seat will hold an infant just as comfortably as an older child, no head wobbling, and no sliding down in the seat. The seat does recline so that if your child is sleeping or falls asleep you can recline the seat for a comfortable sleep.

The design of the seat is such that you will use the seat from infant, through toddler years, and as a booster. The materials are durable, of the highest quality and the workmanship excellent. The removable seat pad/cover is washable and easily removed and reinstalled. If you are looking for a seat that you will get your money’s worth, look no more. Any complaints?
I found very few complaints when reading reviews for the Evenflo Momentum 65 Convertible Car Seat. One consumer wanted the manufacturer to consider making the latch when the harness system buckles into the crotch adjustable. I haven’t experienced any need for this to be flexible because the adjustable harness has made the system fit all the stages of growth my child has gone through.
